General Information

Thank you for your interest in ordering products. You are one of the pioneers at the crypto forefront, helping to create a thriving economy without centralized, one-size-fits-all rules and restrictions that have limited humanity's ability to innovate and thrive, not merely to survive.

This is why only cryptocurrencies are accepted for the products offered here. Please be patient as this ordering process is perfected.

In a nutshell, the process is as follows:

  1. Find the product of interest on the store catalog page.
  2. Click the photo to view details, then click the order link to open the order form with the product preselected.
  3. Pay for the product by scanning the appropriate QR code or entering the address into your crypto wallet, and sending the appropriate amount.
  4. Fill out the order form with all of the information, including the transaction ID (used to verify that payment was made).
  5. Submit the order form. You will receive an email confirming your order has been accepted and is being processed.

Providing the transaction ID is the most important part of the process, and varies depending on the cryptocurrency you choose. Privacy coins like Monero and Pirate Chain are the most difficult, and Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin and the others are the easiest.

The easy ones are easy because their blockchain is an open ledger to the public. The transaction ID provides all the information for anyone to see the amount, the source and destination of funds. For 5 of the 7 coins accepted, you can enter the transaction ID provided by your wallet into this web page and verify the amount you send is visible.

Privacy coins require a few extra steps to provide proof of payment. That is a good thing, because it means you are in control of who you to reveal your transactions to. Yes, it isn't as convenient, but when you come to realize how dangerous it is for the general public to have access to all of your financial activities you may think twice about using the easy way.

Coins such as Dash and Horizen provide both public and private transaction methods, whereas Monero and Pirate Chain are private only and require you to provide the proof of payment to those you wish to have it. Although Monero provides a "proof of payment" method, not all Monero wallets support it. Pirate Chain doesn't provide such a mechanism at this time. If you wish to use Monero or Pirate Chain to make your purchase, or if you need other assistance placing an order, reach out on the Pirate Box/Stick Support Telegram group, discord or the contact form for help.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, but you do need to be sure the transaction ID you provide can be used to see the amount you paid. It may take 1 block time interval (the length depends on the cryptocurrency used; for Bitcoin it is 10 minutes) after sending your payment for the transaction ID to appear in the blockchain explorer.

This might happen if you try to pay with a privacy coin like Monero for example. To purchase with these coins reach out on the support channel of Telegram or discord coordinate your purchase though voice chat.

It depends on a few factors, speed of email delivery is only one of them. Orders are processed by only 1 person in the order in which they are received. Your patience is appreciated.

Other cryptocurrencies may be added as payment options in the future. However, the choices are limited for now while the kinks are worked out of this new crypto payment process.

The selections were chosen based on a combination of technical merits, popularity, utility and personal experience.

If you use a mobile wallet to make your purchase, copying the transaction ID into the order form can be problematic if the order form is on a monitor and you're scanning a QR code to make the payment. This is a common problem. There are several solutions, such as using a text message, email or a social media account on your phone to send the transaction ID from your phone to the system with the order form and QR codes.

If you're only using a single system, cutting and pasting the transaction ID is the most reliable means of providing the value, same for the crypto address you send your payment to, since you can't scan the QR code using the same device it appears on.
